Who handles your data

What we collect
Only what you write in the enquiry form: name, email, phone if given, stay dates and your message. The site does not require registration.
Why we use it
To reply to your availability enquiry and, if you book, to manage your stay (legal basis: pre-contractual steps and contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet the legal duties of accommodation providers, such as reporting guests to the police (Questura) and statistics to ISTAT and the Region (Art. 6(1)(c)). Analytics, advertising and browser preferences are enabled only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). We do not sell your data.
Who sees it
The form is forwarded to our mailbox through the FormSubmit service, which acts as a data processor. Our email is hosted by our hosting provider. By law, guest details go to the police (Alloggiati Web) and, as statistics, to ISTAT and the Lazio Region; tax records go to our accountant. With your consent, Google receives the data from the Google Ads tag.
For how long
Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within twelve months. Booking data is kept for the periods required by tax and public-security law.
Cookies and analytics
Without your consent the site only stores your cookie choice. From the banner you can accept everything, decline everything or choose three categories one by one. Analytics: PostHog (PostHog Inc., servers in Europe, our data processor) records page views pseudonymously, without your IP address. Advertising: the Google Ads tag tells us whether someone who came from one of our ads then wrote to us on WhatsApp; it uses Google cookies (_gcl_*), it is not used to show you personalised ads, and for this data Google Ireland Ltd. is an independent controller, with possible transfers to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework (Google's notice: policies.google.com/privacy). Preferences: we save in your browser which sections you looked at, so that when you return the home page opening talks about those. You can change your mind at any time with the button below: data from the categories you switch off is deleted from your browser.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to receive it in a readable format (portability) or to object to its processing, by writing to info@casalefedele.it. Cookie consent can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting what was done before. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
